Workbench

I am building two new work benches for my two sons. I reclaimed the maple from an old metal shop bench. As you can see it was really ugly to start with.

I had hand surgery a week ago and was unable to finish the bottom shelf or put BLO on anything but the top itself.
This bench was patterned after the bench by Rob. Lang.

Two of the legs were timber off cuts from architectural beams.
The cross braces are soft maple.
I have one quick release vise, but I was unable to put it on with one hand.
The second bench will follow in a few weeks.
